In September Hillstomp made thier second visit to the UK for several performances presented by the Open House Festival in Belfast Northern Ireland.

The new album The Woman that Ended the World features a lovely duct-tape cover and mini poster by Miss Mona Superhero. You better buy it at www.cdbaby.com/hillstomp2 or let us know if you have a decent reason to get a free copy. The rootsmusicreport claims it debuted at #15 on their chart a couple weeks ago & www.riylmusic.com said it was #442 in the cool kids section & Americana Radio says both Hillstomp cd's are doing well on the chart last time we checked.

Short UK visit in April 2006, highlighted by a invitation to the Spitz Festival of Blues.

Played two slots at Portland's enormous Waterfront Blues Festival in July 2004, then in August at the St Helens American Music Festival, The Bite of Oregon Festival, and KBOO's Pickaton Roots Music Fest.

Enthusiastic reception at San Francisco Bluegrass and Old Time Festival show, as demonstrated by local icon Mr 12 Galaxies, helped convince Hillstomp to play the opening and closing sets of the evening.

Past club shows with Tarbox Ramblers, Scott Biram, Split Lip Rayfield, Bob Log III, Michelle Malone, Lucero, Roy Rogers, Soledad Brothers, along with friends like: Moonshine Hangover, I Can Like any SOB in the House, Slewfoot String Band and Mark Lemhouse.
